Mix & Bake Chicken & Brocolli Alfredo



Yield:  serves 6
Bake Time:  30 minutes

 

Batter
• Mazola® Simplicity™ Canola or Olive Oil Cooking Spray
• 1-1/2 cups/375mL  all-purpose flour
• 2 envelopes/2 ¼ tsp  Fleischmann's® QuickRise Yeast
• 2 teaspoons/10ml  sugar
• 1/2 teaspoon/2mL  garlic salt
• 3/4 cup/175mL  water (very warm 120º-130ºF/50º-55ºC)
• 3 tablespoons/45mL  Mazola® Canola or Corn oil 
 
Chicken Mixture
• 1-1/4 cups/300mL  diced, cooked chicken
• 2 cups/500mL  frozen broccoli florets, thawed
• 1 cup/250mL  prepared Alfredo sauce  
 
Topping
• 1 cup/250mL  Italian blend shredded cheese

Directions
MIX batter ingredients together in a pre-sprayed 8x8-inch baking dish. Let rest 10 minutes. Combine chicken mixture ingredients.

TOP batter evenly with chicken mixture. Sprinkle top with cheese.

BAKE by placing in a COLD oven; set temperature to 350°F/180ºC. Bake for 30 minutes, or until done.


Recipe Note: If desired, batter may be mixed in a separate bowl. Proceed as directed above.
